The Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Library on the Waishuanghsi
Campus is a nine-story building. Together with its branch
library on the Downtown Campus, the two libraries have
a combined floor space of 10,500 square meters. The
two libraries have spacious stack areas sections for
works in Chinese and Western languages, and then reading,
reference, periodical, and non-print material sections.
There are also rooms for studying and research.
Currently the two libraries' collection includes
687,389 books, 95,633 non-print works and 2,854 periodicals.
The two libraries have seating capacity for 2,665 people. Computerized
processing offers database search, inter-library cooperation
and related services. The library also offers the course
Library Instruction and Information Literacy and publishes
the Library Newsletter and other kinds of users’ guides.
Various library information promotional activities,
such as electronic database application seminars and
contests for checking materials, are also conducted.
