Cooperation with Other Schools

　　To share information and experience, the University signed an educational cooperation agreement with Da Chi Senior High School in March 1999. The cooperation involves matters related to curriculum, pedagogy, student counseling, interchange of hardware and software, as well as research projects. This is the first time in this country that a local university has signed an educational cooperation agreement with a senior high school. The Bureau of Education of Taipei City Government has strongly praised this agreement as the model of inter-school cooperation.

　　The University subsequently signed educational cooperation agreements in March 2001 with Da Chi Senior High School, Chi Shan High School and Shihlin Vocational High School, forming a Shuanghsi Educational Consortium with Soochow as its nucleus. This is an unification of educational resources.
Also, in December 2002, the University signed an education cooperation agreement and set up school partnership ties with Tai Bei Senior High School, to promote mutual exchanges in various fields.

　　To assist in the development of student associations in middle and elementary schools in the vicinity of the two campuses, the University separately signed cooperation programs with Hu Shan, Bi Hu, Dong Yuan and Xi Yuan elementary schools, Chong Qing, Zhi Shan and Xin Min junior and Cheng Gong and Zhong Zheng senior high schools, Xu Hui High School, and the National Normal University Affiliated High School. The enthusiastic assistance and very effective guidance given by many Soochow student associations have elicited warm praise from the cooperating schools.
