A GENERAL SURVEY OF POLITICAL ATTITUDES IN TAIWAN

     This general survey of political attitudes in Taiwan was conducted from January 1 to February  10. 1990. This final sample is 1500. 

     For survey purpose, political attitudes including opinions on the function of the legal system and the importance of judicial reform as well as evaluation of possible political development in the coming year and of past government performance and the year's performance in legislative and judicial sectors. In addition the survey covers attitudes toward changes in provincial and township government.
