摘要

 

 

      

        本篇論文主要討論艾咪•古特曼《民主教育》一書中的理論,著重民主的德行---深思熟慮---的培養,並且根據無壓制與無差別待遇的限制,強調國家、雙親都具有部分且重要的權威,承認為維護自身的生活方式帶有偏見的選擇。

 

    以深思熟慮的民主德行反思在臺灣的民主教育,借用愛德華•波諾的水平思考訓練,作為落實在臺灣學校教育裡的民主教育。

Abstract

 

 

      The purpose of this study is to reflect democratic educational practice in Taiwan based on Amy Gutmann’s theory of democratic education. In her book, she maintains that deliberation as the democratic virtue to be cultivated in our educational process. She discusses four types of political states with educational authority in state, parents, individual and individual with deliberation thinking. These four states are the family state, the state of families, the state of individuals and democratic state. While she emphases the last type, two principles are foundation of sustaining such state. They are principles of non-repression and non-discrimination.

 

      Upon reflection democratic educational practice in Taiwan, one suggestion is to borrow Edward de Bono’s lateral thinking practices in order to increase students’ ability of deliberation thinking.
