摘要
本研究旨在指出,在自由主義對正義的討論中忽略女性個人與「家庭中正義」的情形。
回溯自由主義發展歷史,發現在該理論的預設下,女性本來就不存在於訂立社會契約的場域當中,政治領域甚至是透過排除女性才獲得意義的。自由主義女性主義者Okin則批評Rawls雖然將家庭假設為社會最基本的制度,卻不討論家庭裡的正義問題,實際上是忽略了家庭中女性的不正義處境,同時也使其正義論出現缺陷。
然而,女性沒有選擇家庭形式的權利和空間,既不能選擇家庭的樣貌,也不能自己賦予「家庭」意義,也是家庭中不正義的問題。從單身女性成家的困難當中,不但可以看見家庭中的不正義,更可以看見因為家庭中不正義所導致的社會(家庭外)不正義:社會對女性權利的忽視。本研究並嘗試思考多元家庭方案是否能提供女性重新向政治社會發聲的機會。

Abstract
This thesis mainly represents how the liberalism neglects woman as an individual and the issue of “justice within the family” in the liberalism discussion on the justice.
Having traced along the history of the liberalism development, I find, according to the related hypothesis, women don’t get involved in making the social contract, and moreover, the significant political domain is women-excluded. Susan M. Okin’s feminist critical analysis of Rawls’ theory of justice pointed out the injustice situation of women in the family had never been discussed yet despite Rawls’ presupposition of the family being the basic institution of the society. The negligence of family injustice in fact made his own theory imperfect.
However, it is a kind of “injustice within the family” that women have no rights to make their option of the family mode and profile; nor do they give meanings to the family. Housing difficulty for single women in current Taiwan society indicates injustice within the family, which causes negligence of women's welfare in the society. To sum up, this thesis is to examine if the project of the alternative family which women promote autonomously could be a chance for women to voice their imagination of the family.
