中文提要:

        日本流行文化越過實際疆界的限制,在台灣社會中形成一股「哈日風潮」,同時也產生了一群喜愛日本流行文化的人們,將日本流行文化與自己的日常生活進行連結,並展現出一種有別於他人的生活風格。「哈日族」根植於對於日本流行文化的追隨與喜愛,而日本流行文化藉由本身的特性與人們的日常生活不斷的作用著。因此,「哈日族」成為這一群人所被歸類的代名詞。本研究對於15位喜愛日本流行文化的「哈日族」,在他們展現的生活風格中穿梭、觀察並呈現,透過「哈日族」所展現的生活風格中來探討,存在於台灣的一群喜歡日本流行文化的人們,如何透過行動者本身的力量,在台灣社會中創造出「哈日次文化」現象。

        本論文整理過去與「哈日族」相關的文獻,從「流行文化/媒體/消費/認同」等相關理論觀點發展而形成研究架構,並以此作為研究的主軸。

        討論發現,日本流行文化具有的強烈消費性格,透過各種與日本相關的媒體,在台灣社會中形塑出了一個日本流行文化的消費空間,在此空間中,消費者透過消費日本相關商品,展現對於日本流行文化的喜愛與認同。同時,對於日本流行文化的日常實踐,使得日本不再是一種飄洋過海而來的異國文化,而是與「哈日族」日常生活的各個場域相互關聯,並衍生出對於各種日本相關事物的關心與接觸。日常實踐過程中外顯的認同展示,以及自我意義的闡連,同時扣連著對於日本流行文化的認同。「哈日族」的形成,同時形成的是一種「哈日族」生活風格。

      本研究將視野聚焦在「哈日族」身上,有以下兩個目的:(一)去除「哈日族」的污名化想像,並藉由「哈日族」的發言,企圖破除「哈日族」被賦予的社會既存印象。(二)呈現「哈日族」的可能樣貌,從單一的想像中將「哈日族」還原至這個多元且真實的社會。 

     

英文提要:

      Japanese popular culture comes across the limit of geographical boundary into Taiwan society and has made up a fever of “ha-ri” that means many Taiwan people crazy about Japanese popular culture. Some people who like Japanese popular culture connect it with their everyday life and show a different lifestyle. “Ha-ri-zu” adhere to the strong favorite of Japanese popular culture, and then, these people mixed it with their everyday life. Hence, “ha-ri-zu” becomes the name to categorize these people. This study goes through the daily life of fifteen “ha-ri-zu”, obverse and exhibit their lifestyle to discuss why they can create a sub-culture of “ha-ri” in Taiwan.

      This theme synthesizes several approaches of「popular culture/media/consumption/identity」to analysis “ha-ri-zu” and the fever of “ha-ri”.

      According to the discussion in this study, Japanese popular culture combines various kinds of media about Japan with itself to format the consumption space in Taiwan and make consumers show their favorite and identity by consuming. And, practice the Japanese popular culture in daily life to make Japan not just an exotic culture but related it with many parts of everyday life, result in, Japanese popular culture has became a part of “ha-ri-zu” and make them to star to concern about other sides of Japan. The process of practice Japanese popular culture, “ha-ri-zu” display an observed identity and to be articulated who I am, all these are concerned with the identity of Japanese popular culture. The formation of “ha-ri-zu”, at the same time, a lifestyle of “ha-ri-zu” has formatted.

       There are two propositions to focus on “ha-ri-zu”: (1) by the speaking of “ha-ri-zu” to clean off the stigmatic imagination and the stereotype given from Taiwan society; (2) offer and represent the possibility of “ha-ri-zu” from homogeneity into the plural society where we live.
