        本論文主要是對歷史唯物論的形成、發展和可能的出路,做一深入的〔理論性〕考察,同時透過哈伯馬斯(Jugen Habermas)這位當代的歐陸思想大師來探討歷史唯物論在各個領域(以及各個研究層次上)的「重建」基礎和可能性.在此,筆者打算指出:哈伯馬斯的「重建」過程是充滿矛盾的,而這主要是由於:(1) 哈伯馬斯將整個歷史唯物論的典範轉移到一種非歷史(a-historical)的脈絡中,從而喪失了對具體歷史社會演化動力的掌握;同時,(2) 在唯物的內涵方面則以「規範結構」(normalstructure )取代一切,以至「物質」被高度抽象;最後,(3) 抽象的規範結構和普遍原則遂完全將歷史唯物論「重建」為分析性的系統建構,並在忽略了實際權力運作的情況下,期待著理想溝通情境的降臨.相對於此,本文特就馬克思以及馬克思之前的形構脈絡作一歷史考察,並一本其原始意涵來重新思考歷史唯物論的問題和出路:亦即將歷史唯物論視為一種以「人」為核心的社會史觀,並認為其主旨在於揭露各種人與人之間的社會關係(包括階級關係).在此,重要的並非單純的「物質」,而是人如何運用這些物質,以及他們在其中所產生的關係(包括不以人的意志為轉移的關係,和人的實踐在其中所發揮的作用).就此而言,歷史唯物論既可被視為某種尋求歷史發展規律的社會理論,但又不只是一種「理論」.它還暗示著人生存的姿態,即詮釋和改變世界的可能性.本文共分為四個分論,十二章,三十三節.分別處理「歷史--唯物論的建構」、馬克思之後的「問題」、哈伯馬斯的重建、及重建中的問題.

        This document is anchored on the formation and development of historical materialism , by contrasting with Jurgen Habermas's Rekonstruktion. My purpose here's trying to argue that Habermas' 'Rekonstruktion' has been failed in vein of 3 principal contra- dictions:(A) By putting the historical paradigm on a-historical basis ,namely, the increancing of social complexity & linguistic communication;(B) By substituting the material-dimentional con- tent with normal structure ,as to the 'material' had been highly abstracted; (C) The latter in turn crystallized the real history to the extent that the historical-materialism has been condensed into analytical-structural version. This implied the only way to emancipate is based on the ideal-communicational Goapel . By Contrasting to this , I would traced back to the origin of historical materialism, re-reading Marx's context , and exaimed its contemporary problems and challenges . In doing so , I want to put the polemic in such a way that the central presupposition of historical materialism is the human beibg , and its career to discover men's social relationships . What makes heuristic sense here is : One should not one-sided emphasize materialism for its material sake , but to seize the conditions of 'how and why did people use the material in this way ', what consquence could it bring and what corresponding relationships between them could be possible . From this point , we shall find some clues to recode historical materialism: To put it straightly ,it is not simply a 'theory', but a kind of life-mode ,namely, to interpret and to change the world . Indeed , Marx's two-focused theory was first concentrating on the combination of theory and practice . This document is 1,000,000-word length, consist of 12 chapters ,33 sections , following the 4 main topics: the construction of historicalmaterialism; problems after Marx; Habermas's recon- struction; and problems in the reconstruction .
